Function and Use of Calcium Hypochlorite
It is mainly used for bleaching pulp in paper industry and cotton, linen and silk fabrics in textile industry. It is also used for disinfection of drinking water and swimming pool water in urban and rural areas. The chemical industry is used for the purification of acetylene and the manufacture of chloroform and other organic chemical raw materials. It can be used as shrinkage inhibitor and deodorant for wool.
